AboutResearchTeaching

  • 📸 My socks, West Virginia, Brandenburg, Marakkesh, Nazaré, and Colle delle Finestre.

  • I have taught students at virtually every level of experience. My approach is dynamic, responsive, and professional. I aim to empower my students to take responsibility for their own unique learning process. I believe that a safe and truly diverse learning environment is one that is best for everyone involved.

In 2022, I received the university wide class teacher award for my teaching from the Eden Centre for Education Enhancement.

At the LSE I taught the following courses:

    Philosophy of Science

    Big Questions in Philosophy
    ‍
    Philosophy of Race and Gender

Ethics of Data and Artificial Intelligence

Outside of academia, I've taught AI Ethics, Safety, and Governance courses at the Center for AI Safety (CAIS), Bluedot Impact, the Cambridge AI Safety Hub, and Kairos.

I'm also working as an AI Ethics Subject Matter Expert at Complexly and I'm developing the curriculum for the Tarbell Fellowship on AI and journalism.
